Joshua Rush has been a performer almost since the moment he was born. He was 10 months old when he first appeared in a local television special, and then several ads and catalogs shortly thereafter. By 2 1/2, he had an uncanny ability to identify cars by logo and body style, and was soon featured on the morning news in a segment on how to raise smart kids.

Josh is professionally represented in Los Angeles. He studies regularly with an acclaimed acting coach and an internationally known vocal coach. He speaks fluent Spanish as well as English.

In addition to acting, he enjoys reading adventure books, learning about math, swimming, and spending time with his family and his favorite dog, Chuy.

"I directed Josh recently in a dramatic film in which I needed an actor who was very young, yet could comprehend and convey deep emotional pain. In addition, due to using steadicam for a couple of the shots, it required an actor who could hit various camera marks, time and time again as well as nail performance throughout. I spent 3 months with my casting director searching for such an actor, to no avail, until Joshua Rush showed up. Within a minute it was clear he was our guy and I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to work together. Josh is a godsend, he nailed every camera mark, gave a heartbreaking performance and made the entire crew smile and laugh while doing it."
