Joshua has been a performer almost since the moment he was born. At 10 months old he appeared in a local television special, and several commercials and catalogs followed. At the age of 6, his family moved from Houston to Los Angeles and since then he has had a consistent career, spanning feature films, animated series, and co-star and guest star roles on acclaimed television series including ChuckHeroesCSI: NY, Criminal Minds, Children's Hospital, House, MediumPrivate Practice, and many others.

 

Now 15 years old, Joshua plays Cyrus in the highly anticipated Disney series Andi Mack, which debuts in 2017 and was created by Terri Minsky, creator of Lizzie McGuire. As Andi’s best guy friend, Cyrus helps Andi navigate the often uncomfortable world of middle school, while also confronting his own process of growing up.

 

Joshua is a seasoned voice actor, with several lead roles including the fearless honey badger Bunga, a fan favorite, in The Lion Guard on Disney Junior. He also lends his voice to the 6-foot-tall piglet Toby in Dreamworks / Netflix series The Adventures of Puss in Boots, and is regularly featured on Clarence as Breehn, and Jeremy Birnbaum on Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and has made “appearances” on Family Guy, The Cleveland ShowSpecial Agent Oso, and Gravity Falls. He played Carl in the 2014 Dreamworks animated feature Mr. Peabody and Sherman, and Wheels in the Netflix series of the same name.

 

Joshua’s lead role of Jacob in breakout thriller Emelie, showed a more dramatic side, where he had to save his younger siblings from a very evil babysitter (Sarah Bolger). In indie comedy Break Point, Joshua plays the precocious Barry, lending a hand to estranged brothers, played by Jeremy Sisto and David Walton, to make an improbable run at a grand slam tennis tournament. And in dramedy Sex, Death and Bowling, Joshua plays Eli, the 11-year-old hero on a quest to find out what happens when we die, alongside Adrian Grenier and Selma Blair.

 

Joshua's first big break came on Christmas Day 2012 when he co-starred with Billy Crystal, Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei in the family movie Parental Guidance. He played Turner, the stutter-encumbered middle child, a role that earned him several award nominations.
